Contacting Victoria Police

Back to referral pathway

You must contact Victoria Police on 000 if:

  • a child’s immediate safety is compromised
  • a child is partaking in any risk taking activity that is illegal and extreme in nature or poses a high risk to their safety, or the safety of somebody else
  • a reasonable belief is formed that a sexual offence has been committed by an adult against a child under 16 years of age. Failure to disclose the information to police is a criminal offence as determined by the Crimes Amendment (Protection of Children) Act 2014.

Central Victorian Primary Care Partnership acknowledges the traditional owners on whose land we live and work, their rich culture and spiritual connection to country. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and celebrate their living culture and unique role in the life of our catchment.
