You must contact Victoria Police on 000 if:
- a child’s immediate safety is compromised
- a child is partaking in any risk taking activity that is illegal and extreme in nature or poses a high risk to their safety, or the safety of somebody else
- a reasonable belief is formed that a sexual offence has been committed by an adult against a child under 16 years of age. Failure to disclose the information to police is a criminal offence as determined by the Crimes Amendment (Protection of Children) Act 2014.
